The Friends of the Pekisko Rangeland are a group of people who believe that the foothills native grasslands are a valuable resource, that ranching is an appropriate Dominant Land Use of this unique area, that its value as a watershed is equally important, and that the ecological and biological natural capital of this land needs to be guarded. To become a support person please submit the form below.
Becoming a Friend means that you will have the opportunity to be informed of news related to the Pekisko Rangeland through an occasional email newsletter. Plus you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping to safeguard the water supply of Southern Alberta and to maintain one of the last areas of native fescue grassland in North America.
